Dashboards
Charts, metrics and tables backed by live aggregations.
Dashboards put charts, metrics, tables and notes on a drag-and-resize grid. Every widget is backed by a live aggregation on your connection.
Build a dashboard
- Open Dashboards from the command palette and create a dashboard, or start from a built-in template or a one-click layout.
- Add a widget from the widget library and write or pick the aggregation behind it.
- Drag and resize widgets on the grid.
- Add shared filters that apply to every widget, set auto refresh, and cap slow queries with
maxTimeMS.
The chart editor
The chart editor shows a live preview as you change it.
- Chart types: column, bar, stacked, line, area, pie, doughnut, scatter, radar and polar area.
- Date grouping from hour to year.
- Series, color palettes, legends, axis titles, number formats and value labels.
Present and export
- Present mode shows the dashboard full screen.
- Export to PNG, a multi-page PDF (A4 or Letter, split between widgets), per-widget PNG or CSV, or the whole dashboard as JSON.
Save your own dashboards as templates. Dashboards are stored on your computer.
Share a dashboard
- Workspace folder: Export → Save to workspace folder (or Save dashboard… in the Workspace panel). The file names each widget's connection, so a teammate with a saved connection of the same name opens it from their Workspace panel, ready to run.
- Team Server: when you're signed in to one, Export → Share with team… shares it as a team item. Widgets refer to shared connections, so share those first. Teammates add it from the Team panel.
- File: Export → Dashboard JSON, then import it on another computer.
